AWSCL won the toss and went out to bat with Thomas Brady and Joe Fisher. Thomas was bowled for 1. This brought James Woodward out to bat and together with Joe they put on 50 runs before James was bowled for 28. Joe was caught for 26. This brought Nathan Goldthorp and Henry Ogilive to the wicket. They both scored freely before Henry was run out for 20 Nathan finished on 20 with Joel Stead on 2 not out, AWSCL finishing on 106 for 4 after 30 overs,

AWSCL soon got a wicket Nathan Goldthorp getting an lbw against their opener. The bowling and fielding were not as good as norma,l the bowlers bowling short and down the leg side. Two dropped catches did not help the AWSCL cause. AWSCL used 10 bowlers. The wicket takers were Nathan Goldthorp1 for 6 off 3, Daniella Topham 1 for 9 off 3 and Sam Kellett 1 for 5 off 2,

We will after improve for next Sunday `s Festival in which we play Halifax
