MISCELLANEOUS ACHIEVEMENTS

1) DOUBLES ACHIEVED Toby Jacklin (Collingham and Linton CC) has scored 532 runs and took 53 wickets this season. 

      In 3rd XI Cricket, the feat has been achieved by Amir Farooq (North Leeds CC) who has registered 270 runs and 23 wickets. 

2) RECORD WICKET STANDSTwo have been notified on Results Sheets this year.

2nd Wicket – 306 by S.Collings (185*) and C.Williams (118*) for Bilton v. Knaresborough (2nd XIs)
4th Wicket – 168 by D.Childs (100*) and J.Langan (66) for Horsforth v. Bilton (3rd XIs)

3) 1000 RUNS SCOREDMichael Richmond of New Rover registered 1048 in 1st XI Cricket and Kirkstall`s David Wonfor passed 1000 runs in 2nd XI cricket for the second consecutive season with 1056. Rob Cooper (Upper Wharfedale CC) also registered 1051 runs.

4) ALL 10 FEATSThree bowlers have achieved a maximum this season.

Shane Franklin (New Rover CC) 10-35 v. Ben Rhydding (1st XI)
Geoff Weir (Alwoodley CC) 10-10 v. New Rover (2nd XI)
Julian Davey (Pool CC) 10-40 v. Menston (2nd XI)

5) FIELDING AWARDSThis year, we have clear winners for all three Fielding Awards.

1st XI – Ellicott Shield – Stuart Carey (Beckwithshaw CC)
2nd XI – Eric Money Shield – David Bott (Ilkley CC)
3rd XI – Don Summersgill Shield – Adam Hardwick (Steeton CC)

6) OTHER ITEMSFather and son Mark and David Hedges have both qualified for the 3rd XI batting averages for the second consecutive year. And Gareth Lee (batting) and his father Alec (bowling) have also both qualified in the 3rd XI figures.

7) U20 PRIZE WINNERS Toby Jacklin of Collingham and Linton CC sweeps the board, winning both the Batting and the Bowling Prize. Toby`s feat is the fourth occasion on which the same player has won each prize but he is the first non-overseas player to succeed since Alec Stone of Addingham in 1961.
