1) DOUBLES ACHIEVED – David Stuart (Addingham CC) has achieved the feat with 706 runs and 50 wickets. Nick Brooke (Burley-in-Wharfedale) also got there with 511 runs and 62 wickets.
2) RECORD WICKET STANDS – None have been notified.
3) 1000 RUNS SCORED – No examples have been recorded in a wet Summer.
4) ALL 10 FEATS – No examples have been recorded.
5) FIELDING AWARDS – These have been awarded as follows.
1st XI – Ellicott Trophy – Stuart Carey (Beckwithshaw CC)
2nd XI – Eric Money Shield – Karl Bennett (Bolton Villas CC) and Danial Bott (Ilkley CC) each had 8 Fielding Points. Karl Bennett had 7 catches in 2007 and Danial also had 7 catches so the trophy is shared
3rd XI – Don Summersgill Shield – Tom Simpson (Calverley CC) and Mark Portlock (Harden CC) each had 5 points. Again a tie on points means catches and Mark Portlock wins with 6 caught. Tom only managed 1 in the season.
6) OTHER ITEMS – Ian Normington of Burley-in-Wharfedale CC has finished the season with the magnificent average of 103.16, the highest end-of-season average ever recorded in the 71-yeaer history of the AWSCL.
The only other player ever to record a 5-figure return was Jonathan Smith (Steeton CC) who finished with 101.20, also in the 2nd Division of the Reserve League, in 2002.
7) U20 PRIZE WINNERS – Both prizes are awarded this year. Both Winners were part of the League`s victorious White Rose XI.
