The 1980s were a particularly successful time for the League`s Senior Representative XIs. The picture below was taken on a very cold mid-September day at Menston CC.

Five years later, in 1985, the League won the John Smiths Yorkshire League Knock-Out competition for the second and, so far, last time. This picture was taken at Guiseley CC.

The White Rose team of 1985, shown below, completed a remarkable double, when they emulated their Senior counterparts, defeating the Bradford CL at Headingley. This was their second win in this competition, to go with their 1983 success.
