The Junior Cricket Association is a Sub-Committee of the Airedale-Wharfedale Senior Cricket League. Its role is to study and advise on Junior Cricket for the benefit of the 36 Member Clubs of the AWSCL.
All 36 Members Clubs are represented at JCA meetings by Group Representatives, whose names and addresses are to be found on page 5 of the current League Handbook.
Which Group a Club is in can be found on pages 73-75 of the current League Handbook.
All 36 Member Clubs of the League are automatically Members of the JCA, irrespective of the League in which their Junior XIs play or whether they have any Junior XIs or not.
By the same token, the JCA AGM is also seen as a compulsory meeting for all 36 League Clubs, irrespective of whether they have Junior XIs or not.
The Junior Cricket Association is NOT the Airedale Junior Cricket League, which is an organisation with its own set of Officials.
Nor does the Airedale Junior Cricket League. have any connection whatsoever with the AWSCL, although the names are similar and very many local Clubs share membership of both organisations.
